Hi,

didn´t use this lens a longer time due to the fact that I bought in the meantime a Nikkor 2.8/180mm ED. Was a big mistake. The Nikkor is a very good lens but the Leica is not poorer.

Here few random shots, # 1 and #2 out of my wifes garden, the rest in front of the German mining museum in our town.

In agree! It's a fantastic lens!

I always wanted to buy an Elmarit 2.8/180 but when I got and tried the Elmar 4/180, I decided that I won't need any other 180mm - ever!

Many thanks for your friendly comments.

Indeed, this is a very good 180mm lens and normally there is no need to buy/own another one.

What is image 3? That is a very interesting piece of hardware and a very well done image.

Great sharpness, but the saturation is pretty amazing. Good choice of subjects.
