Hi,
after a longer time of search I found finally few days ago this lens for a reasonable price. Today I have taken some first random shots in our neighboring town when my wife spend some money at the shopping.
Great lens, which was Leicas first APO lens and developed for the US Navy long distance reconnaissance.
All shots at F 5.6 and ISO 200 with Nikon D700
no visible CA
and here 100 % cropped
Thanks for viewing and comments.

Congrats Rolf to this gem, I think, you will like it as I do! It's practically impossible to get some CAs and it has stunning contrast at all apertures and almost all situations. Just avoid direct sun into front pupil, but this isn't problem with this FL and with the integrated sunshade.
The 100% crop shows exactly all the qualities. _________________ .: APO-Maniac :. |

I don't find the price too high for this quality
I don't buy this one because 180mm on FF is too big for me
I use 125mm and higher only 1 or 2 times a year _________________ T* |

Many thanks.
This is the difference. I like more the tele lenses and if I could own only one lens I would vote for my Leica MR Telyt 500/8 mirror.
