Looking north from Kirby Fell.

Shot last September, found it on my harddrive yesterday, had never looked at it before.

This was taken with the fifth Nikkor 50-300mm lens I have owned. This one is an AIS version (have also owned non-AI, two AI and one AIS lenses). Each time, I got sidetracked by another lens and sold the 50-300 to pay for it. This time, for sure ... It's on a Nikon D780. Taken in the Wild Sky country of the Cascade Mountains.

This cemetery is a short walk up onto the high plain above the town of Carbondale, Colorado. Mount Sopris provides the backdrop.

Nikkor 50mm f1.4 AI, Nikkormat FT-2, Fujifilm 200.
