So they own two of these Zeiss f/0.7 lenses. I wonder about the prices for renting these lenses!

Kubrick was notorious for making very many takes of a scene. Barry Lyndon is said to be the film where he really went overboard in that regard. You can just picture him shouting at Ryan O'Neal 'dammit, you leaned too far forward and your nose went out of focus!' Smile

Harvard Lampoon really raked Ryan over the coals for that film. Still a fave of mine, beautiful score and cinematography.

I don`t remember the site that mentioned the price but it was something around €3975. Per day.
I think I`ll pass this one.

I read in a German magazine on Sunday that the set costs 3500 Euro (~USD 4.600) for a single day. But not a very reliable magazine.
