This lens is very interesting.
They are sharper than Canon EF 50/1.4, Nikon 50/1.4 Ai, OM 50/1.4, SMC-M 50/1.4 wide open - may be as good as Rokkor MD but without that much CA (I think). Converting it to 4/3 also not so difficult.

With bounced flash (indoor)

Well I was going to buy one, when I read the 50mm f1.7 is sharper....anyway I do have the rokkor 58mm f1.4 if I'm pushed for a lens for low light.

Have a look at a picture I took with the 1,7. It's really sharp, I think.

That's really sharp, and I like the color too.
Is it Hexanon AR 50/1.7?

Yes. The 1,7/50 hexanon not MC, and in the older style is one of the sharpest (if not the sharp) 50 mm lens. Anybody that had or have this lens can tell you that.

And with the advantage that it has a neutral contrast.

Rino.

I believe Olympus DSLR cameras can use some (or all) of Hexanon lenses.

A cheap (and good) konica film body to use with slide film is a bad idea for you?

Perhaps a well scanned a well exposed slide film can be better than a 4/3 sensor. I only ask.
