Nice light. The lens lacks a bit of sharpness. But that may be due to F11 on high end APSC where diffraction hits hard.

I view that good lenses on recent APSC bodies must peak around F4 or 5,6 for best results.

I think you're correct Michel, I meant to take the shot at f8 but maybe f5.6 would be better. The location is near my home so I'll return when the light is right. Thank you!

The second "compact" computation (the f22) of the AR 2.8/24mm indeed is one of the better 2.8/24mm vintage lenses, almost as good as the Minolta MD-III (and probably the new FD 2.8/24mm which, as far as I remember, perform pretty similarly to the MD-III).

It's the same patent as the Konica AR 2.8/21 "compact", BTW.
