Yeah, that's the one design I don't have, also called end nippers or end-cutting pliers.

Have a pair at work that are way too big.

mine is small ~ half inch wide

One more thing, did you have to sand the ends of the spool to make it fit? That was the part
that was pissing me off, getting plastic particles in the film. Laughing

That's lucky, seems like Kodak provided extra space/leeway in some models.

Best of course is the BHF, just use 620 for take-up spool. Smile

I tried a Monitor. I just used a pair of nail clippers like this to trim the spool, didn't need to sand the end down, and I had a 620 spool to use for takeup so it couldn't have been simpler really, which was lucky.
