KMZ Helios-23 aka Ro4-1 (1940's Soviet lens footage)

The Helios-23 lens was calculated in March, 1945. It was also produced as the KMZ Ro4-1 and later Ro4-1M.

Optical scheme is similar to the Helios-33 calculated in 1945.
Optical design of both the Helios-23 and the Helios-33 was based on the Cooke Opic (see our community post) and they were intended for the 18x24 motion picture format.

Helios 23 resolution (center vs corner) ~ 50/22
Helios 33 resolution ~ 48/27

Main difference between them is the Helios-23 can be found with the early blue coating (like my model) and also covers very close to full frame.
