This is a stock old camera with standard lens. Of the SLRs and TLRs I've adopted in the recent past the results of the first film through this one give me a real buzz. They're not simply competent "new user snapshots", I think they've got something: It's one of those "swirly bokeh" jobs. See what you think. I ought to put together a photo showing the various accoutrements & accessories that it came with.

The set of pictures show the Mamiya MSX500 does a great job with capturing the moment. You left out though it does a take a person with a keen eye to capture a picture that has something. Well done set

Thanks! That'd be the person who walks round squinting at things in a slightly odd way with his head on one side and his wife walking along about 60 yards in front and pulling away all the time Laughing Laughing

Oh blimey, could you possibly repeat that but a little louder? haha!

I still need instant gratification sometimes. Also I'd say I can manage a reasonable "snap" with film but I don't really think that I have got anywhere near making the camera dance yet.

Lovely images, I like them a lot. They somehow have a timeless quality about them Smile
