I used this lens on same camera body (KIEV-4) with same film with Sonnar 5cm f1.5.
Sonnar did capture stunning images I didn't found any evidence of light leaking.
From Jupiter-9 at same time on same body with same film I got errors. Can you help me to figure out what was wrong ?

Perhaps simple light leaking ?
I found same thing on one Sonnar shoot too.

Could well be, but the Jupter-9 2/85 (I have the m42 version) is also quite vulnerable for flare when you don't use a lenshood. _________________ 35mm, 120mm & digital camera-user |

As it seems to be in the same place, I would suggest a light leak. Try some tape over the film door and see if that helps. _________________ Casual attendance these days |

I was going to say, obviously the Kiev is telling you it prefers the Sonnar... but the yak hair theory is better _________________ -Jussi
