I found this lens a while ago in a small antique store in Budapest for a good price. Finally I am posting some
test shots. I hope you like them. Please comment.

It's a nice lens and well known among MFers... it's a copy of Zeiss Sonnar, virtually identical from the optical point of view. I have both, it's time to take one out of the box Smile

Is there a need to say anything?

Very Happy

Not really, I suppose. I am mostly concerned if the is something noticeably wrong with the lens or just to
get confirmation that it seems like a good copy. I have a few of these Jupiter 135mm lenses and I want to sell
a couple of them.

Now I should try them all for a while and see which one I like the best. I have 2 Jupiter 11As also plus a
Jupiter 11.

Uddhava,

I have also the 37A and the 11 old model, alu. What's the main difference between 11 and 11A, apart the newer being f3.5 instead f4? The coatings?

I never made a comparison of mine, but someone commented that the alu Jupiter 11 had a warmer tone than the 11A.
Also the 11A is not aluminum. I looked at my J11 and it definitely has a yellow tint, but it is hard to tell what
color the 11A is. Confused

11A (like Jupiter 37A and other A's) also has interchangeable mount and can be used on Nikons.

I can use both my 11 and my 11A on my Nikon and Minolta. The 11 needs a little taking out of the inside of the T mount.
