hmm might be, I've never tried my copy on digital in bright sunlight but always indoor/lowlight and I know the lens is prone to flare on digital sensors. Maybe decreasing of the coverage to APS-C size with a tight hood would increase the contrast a lot. _________________ I'm not a collector, I'm a tester
