In the past i did lots of C41 with a Jobo CPE and i didn't need to correct development times for rotating development. For B&W, you need a correction that should be figured out by experimenting as B&W is not a fixed process like C41 of E-6.
To use a CPE or CPA for developping films, the 'lift' is the most useful extra to have. It's the most accurate way to make your processing times as accurate as possible. The time for the chemicals to get in of out of the drum are always equal and you will not find yourself struggling with a drum that will not catch the rotating magnet or with an unwilling cap. The drum is always coupled and you simply throw the chemicals in de lift.

Thank you ! I guess I will use it only for E-6 and C-41 for B&W simple hand held development is fine. Right ? Any benefits from rotating ? _________________ -------------------------------

For B&W, you will not have any benefits from rotational development. Some chemicals work so much better when you do not agitate them too much.
Colorchemicals are most made for mechanical development in large machines. Therefor, in smallscale-use like in a Jobo processor, things work better when the chemicals are kept in the same constant movement as they are in large machines, where they are washed around the moving film.
Having good control over your timing and temperature, the E-6 or C41 process is one of the most simple things to do. _________________

You can save on the quantity of chemistry I guess - you don't need to fill the whole tank when it's rotating, and it gets the temperature right. _________________ Stefan

I got it with three botles, I had to buy one extra for E-6 process, otherways was complete. It did come with 4 35mm rolls capcity tank.
I also bought extra tank cap , they are not close very well, better to fix it with tape at least at first bath even new cap did come off at first bath. _________________ -------------------------------

Yes, prove it LOL, buy a very accurate thermometer if you wish to be precise. I found little over step on time or not superb accurate temperature not harm or not much. _________________ -------------------------------

Do you find that the CP2 thermostat isn't enough precise and you need to control and suplimentary adjust the temperature ? _________________ Cheers , Teo

Keep temperature precisely once it is set, but scale is not precise on button, easy to set 37,5 instead of 38.0 if you not use external control. _________________ -------------------------------
