If it can produce B&W images that look like Tri-X processed in an acutance developer I'd be really impressed, probably enough to take the plunge. But I suspect that the rather ugly behaviour at high ISO settings isn't something that can be substantially transformed, so I'm not getting carried away. For the moment I keep telling myself that I got along very happily with Tri-X rated at between 400 and 600, so why fret too much about the M8's shortcomings at 1250. . . For my photography I don't actually need either ultra high settings or a super-speed lens _________________ Stephen
