I had some hesitations when I bought this lens. I'd read real mixed reviews but the price was right and I really like the looks of it. That plus I wanted a lens in that general FL. Today I took it out and took some shots with it on my Sony a7. The saguaros are in bloom. Overall I'm quite pleased with this lens and think it performs better than some of the negative reviews had suggested.

I have the slightly later Isconar (same lens, different name ring), and it performs ok.

It is definitely better than some of the other early ISCO lenses, and very easy to find too.
