Does someone here have experience of opening up the Olympus Zuiko OM 18/3.5 lens? I could possibly buy this lens at a good price since it has haze behind the front element.

Some lenses are really easy to open up (especially the front element). I'm hoping that this lens could be cured with some cold cream Smile

I'm asking because I have been offered a Zuiko OM 18/3.5 with haze on the inside of the front element for about 350 euro. These lenses seem to go for a lot more these days so I wonder if I should go for it. It would be perfect if I could manage to clean the lens itself but with a professional clean I would be looking at up to 450 in total.

There is a lens diagram at the bottom of this page. I'm no expert but it does look like the front lens is a single element. I was afraid that it could be a cemented lens group. If this is the case, the lens haze problem should be possible to fix, at least by a professional.
