I started to try IR using an IR filter but was frustrated by the long exposures required. Judging by the clouds you aren't using particularly long exposures, may I ask what kind of duration.
Undeterred I like IR so much that I bought a dedicated converted Canon G5. _________________ I used to think digital was fun but then I discovered film, then I found old lenses and then, eventually I found rangefinders.

They are nice, but: You only have to be careful not to overexpose the foliage. In your last shot, the meadow is just an almost white patch and often the highlights are clipped in trees and bushes. _________________ Canon 5D, Jupiter 11A 135mm f/4, Soligor (Tokina) 105mm f/2.8, Nikon 55mm f/1.2 S-Auto, Sigma MF 50mm f/2.8 Macro, Olympus Zuiko 50mm f/1.8 MC, Olympus Zuiko 28mm f/2.8 MC |

sorry for those outside of Northern Ireland that was a play on the fact that there is a very popular fir tree that grows well here and it is called Castlewellan Gold, Castlewellan being a smallish town close to the County Down coast _________________
