Yesterday I drove to my parent place. They live in the rural part of the province where you can see nature in all it's beauty. It was raining a bit, but that didn't stop me from getting some shots. All I had was my Xti and the Industar.

Mostly wide open at ISO 400 with little bit of post processing.
There wasn't much light and I didn't trust ISO 800 on the Xti, there's a bit of camera shake here and there

Girlfriend went shopping with her mom, so I went hiking lonely in the nearest forest/park.

Very nice, I like the cat shots. I have a couple of I-50s, never selling em.

Another shot of that day.

Had the camera on a rock and tried my best not the shake it.
This is actualy a merge of 2 pictures cause I wasnt able to compose the waterfall in a single shot (without a proper tripod!)
The bottom one has lots of camera shake.

We're just beginning to get these colours. I'll dust off an Industar or 3.

I don't need more 50's... but I suspect I'll be getting another one.

It's so cheap and so light/small. Its only downside is the f3.5 aperture.

From what I gathered around the forum, I personally think you're better off with a ~1968 to ~1973 make.
The older it is the better.

Mine was made in 1972. Got it from a Poland seller that had ~20-30 of those, if not more. This one looked clean and scratch free and it was one of the older one. The make date is the first 2 number of the serial.

I'm actually in the hunt for a proper lens cap. I found some Industar branded one, but they looks quite easy to lose (doesn't lock into filter threads).
