Hello,
So, I finaly received this lens this morning in good condition (looks like coating is not damaged, according to photos...but I'm not that sure). Lens is a bit bigger (taller) than Industar 50, the aperture ring of the 50 and 22 are the same (smaller than 50-2). It naturely focus to infiny (I use M39->M42->EOS). The minimal distance of focus is 1m (I feel like it's a bit more, I was surprised how far I had to be to shot flower). Lens is from year 1954.
Here is 2 pictures (taken with compact camera) to compare with other industars :
And here are some test shots done in my village this morning, without any PP at all.

Some new shots made today with this Industar 22 at Montmartre, famous touristic place in Paris.
No PP at all (even if many of them need croping)

Congrats, lens looks like an excellent performer, very sharp with lovely colours.
I never understand why people don't rate Tessars/Industars, they are great lenses and a good one is sharp sharp sharp. _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |
