Hi!
Today is Finland's independence day.
I'm really happy, that for a long time I managed to get out with a camera during day time. The sun rises around 10am and goes down around 14, so there is only 6h of light in here nowadays. Tried to find some national day/christmas theme around the town.

All with Pentax *ist DS (iso1600) and Tamron SP80-200/2.8

Weird, I've lost the pair for my Tamron and have only one. Should I be worried? Wink

Nice experiments. I like them, especially number three.

Voytek - are you preparing for a duel or something?

Just make sure that you don't lose the second one. That would look like carelessness.

Great shots.

I apologize soikka for posting my photos in your topic. I promised somebody to show both my lenses and sample. Had only few minutes to do it. Sample was missing. Used search for Tamron, your post was first then I uploaded photos and that's all. I feel like stupid now, Sorry. I didn't want to be offensive. PM your mailing address, I will ship to you free lens. My choice. I am not joking, this is public promise. Below sample from my Tamron which I missed in my post. Canis latrans in the distance about 150 yards, taken from indoor through double glass

No problem Voytek! I wasn't offended.
After all your images were related to the subject.

You're living in a nice place, since you can follow all kinds of nature's creatures through your window glass. My window is pretty much blocked with concrete nowadays.

I have a soft spot for Finland. I collect Finnish Mosin Nagant rifles that tell a story of years of conflict with Russia.. It's amazing they survived intact.

Wow, that's a unique collectors item. Where have you got the sparkle for that collection?

Yes it is amazing, that's one piece of finnish history, that has puzzled many.
