Tessar
Look if it says 'Paragon", that was the usual Ilex brand for its Tessars.
Ilex made them for a lot of applications.
Is it in barrel or in shutter ?
In barrel they are sometimes found on Graflex SLRs and Beattie-Coleman portrait cameras. I have one of these.
In shutter they were used for all kinds of large format commercial photography.
There were also enlarging versions. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |
