Does anybody have one they could post a pic of for me to see so I can recognise it, or even better, know where I could buy one? At the moment I'm using the hood from my Nikkor-NC 24/2.8, but a Nik hood on a Pentax lens doesn't feel right!

but I didn't realise it was intended for the 24mm. That explains why I can't find one - I was searching for 28mm!
Visual, I tried sandwiching it between a Canon cam and Nikon hood - it started yelling "get me outa here"! It doesn't seem to mind the NEX though!  Yes, it's a 28/3.5 Pentax K lens with 52mm filter - the Nikon hood for the 24/2.8 is screw-in fitting, also 52mm.
Mo, I think if your hood is for 49mm then it must be for the Pentax-M lenses and later. The Takumar hood for the M42 28/3.5 is also 49mm but it has a clamp fitting, and neither will fit my larger K lens. Thanks for the picture though - I'm using the Takumar hoods with my M lenses, so now I have to start a new search for the right ones!
