Miserable day, cold, misty, temperature 0.5 degrees C, and our dog thinks it's a great idea to go for a walk and nags me.

"Aaaa, c'mon, dad, let's go for a walk, please!" "Yeah, okay pooch, I'll take my camera" I said. And then when we're out, dog starts moaning, "Ohhh, it's cold, my feet are cold, awwww, how many more pictures you gonna take?"

Who'd have a Jack Russell, eh? And I didn't take many pics, only 47. Here's one -

Leica 50mm RF Summicron, f4.

A very familiar weather situation this time of the year. Today we got some snow at last.
Nice capture!
I like these fog shots with something sharp in the foreground and the background fading away in the mist.
Our dogs tend to become restless as soon as I stop to take shot. There's always some interesting spot just a few meters away. Dont know how many horizons I have had to correct because of them yanking the leech.

***And I didn't take many pics, only 47***

That's about 3 weeks use for me using film, when not on holiday.

I know ... it's sheer profligacy and I'd never do it with film. My only excuse is that it was cold and I was shivering and expecting camera shake. The viewing screen on the M8 is really naff, hard to tell if the image is sharp or not. That's what you get for buying cheap stuff ... my wife's Canon 460 gives a far better idea. And no image stabilisation either! Hope nobody from the Leica forum is reading this, they'll send a plain van with men in white coats to take me away.

I'd probably have left the camera at home if I'd been using film - especially 100 ISO slide film. Had the camera set on 320 (which being a Leica is actually 400 ... ) Wink
