No. It doesn’t. It is quite capable lens:

Simply exactly in that case I had been looking for the “soft” effect.

Szervusz Attila Smile

I would like to suggest it would make more sense to ask if the lens is the version with aluminum ring (1967-1970), all black all metal (1970-1973) or with a rubber focusing ring (from 1973 on).
The first and the second versions both had EE markings on the aperture ring. The third and last version had either EE or AE markings for the ones made until the middle of 1973 and only AE until the end of production.
For many other Hexanon lenses, like the 28/f3.5, 35/f2.8, 52/f1.8, 57/f1.4, 135/f3.5 and 200/f3.5, the EE markings are present on three and sometimes four successive versions. All this to say that whether a Hexanon lens has EE or AE markings is not indicative of the lens' version. It is of no technical significance and is, at best, coincidental.

Mine is the version with aluminum ring.

I obtained it in the USA at the year 1994 for $100 in the second hand camera store.

Yes, and no Internet to rocet the prices up as novadays. Very Happy

New York had been famouse for it. And also "Kamera Show"market, travelling from the town to town. Well.. Good, old days. And no digital camera, to spoile the true analog film! Wink
