Help with mount identification

This is found on a Soligor lens. I suspect it's an interchangeable mount with a Contax/Yashica mount end, though I am not sure at all.

Please help. What is this mount setup? Is it anything like Tamron's Adaptall system?

Is that indeed a Canon FD mount? I wasn't so sure, as it appears that the mount fits inside a body, rather than the rotating outer ring to lock it in place. Then again, I'm probably looking at it all wrong. Embarassed

Indeed, this looks to be a T4 mount.

Thank you, Scott(and Rick). I'll probably pass this one up, unless I happen to be watching the bidding and it goes for a song. Wink

Yes, T4/TX is like the Tamron Adaptall.

This looks like a Canon FD mount.

I have one of these Canon FD/T4's.

1- 100% sure it is a t4 (not tx ) because of lens design

2- What is strange if this a canon mount ("ca" seems to indicates canon /yashica - contax mount was not available on t4 - only yashica m42) :
a- i do not see the breech lock on camera side (t4 mount itself is breech lock)
b- i do not see the maximal aperture level on the camera side

Perhaps is it an ef (not fd) canon without max aperture lever but where is the breech lock ?

Yes, T4 is correct. The adadpter is the earlier Canon FL style. Stop down only. No full aperture metering or auto-exposure.

The breech lock detail is obscured by the poor picture. If you look at a Canon breechlock from this angle, and its one of those that don't have contracting chrome/black parts, this is what you often see.

Many thanks for the feedback and information, everyone. I can positively confirm that the mount is a T4. I don't actually care if the end mount is of FD or FL type, as I wouldn't use it anyway.

The reason I've confirmed it is that I received a package today. Within it was a Soligor 135 f/2.8-22 prime lens, which has a T4 end on it. There is no final mount for it. That's all fluff anyway, as the real reason for the package was the Tamron SP 60-300 f/3.8 it contained. Wink

Now I just need to locate an Adaptall final mount...
