Just starting in with these wonky bokeh optics - and loving every minute!
Spent today 'finding' the camera>subject>background distances at the local university gardens. At wide open or one stop down, the Helios isn't the sharpest lens but when you get the focus plane right it is more than decent. But that's where the coolest bokeh is. (Tried to upload sample images - got a good preview but then a broken link on the forum.) _________________ Bstrom | Powell, TN

Very nice shots, welcome to the site.
There are some versions of the 44 which are sharper than others, so if you want a sharper version, they do exist. _________________ A Manual Focus Junky...
