I don't know what mounting version it is. Back focal distance is short. Just sufficient to convert for use on M4/3, not EOS. Resolving power of this lens is very good!

I removed the chrome rear metal part of the lens first, fitted a rubber ring around the aperture ring and then insert the lens almost completely into a M52-front/M42-rear focusing helicoid. I added another M42/M42 focusing helicoid of suitable length and then adapted the whole set on my G1 (see photos inseries).

Kipon sells a new one for $250
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/121001040192?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_3491wt_1456
And I paid about $50 for a hacked together Keiv & NEX mount, it may or may-not work as planned, I'll know better when it arrives. _________________ A Manual Focus Junky...

But my lens costed US$ 23.99 (including postage) only! I better stay DIY using my existing helicoids for adaptation. |
