I have them both, used them both on FF.
Which one is 'better' - no idea, they are both very good lenses. _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |

In that case I would recommend the Zuiko. Adapting SX lenses is always tricky. |

The SX lens needed the lip filing off the back of the aperture ring to fit an adapter, but that is a 5 minute job really. _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |

You need to find an adapter with an external diameter which allows the overlapping of the aperture ring .
You need an adapter which also pushes the preselection pin in order to close the aperture .
You must remove from the lens the pin which transmits the aperture for WO metering.
For a Zuiko you just need an adapter.
If you nevertheless want a mamiya SX 28 2.8 buy a Voigtländer Color Skoparex or Rolleinar 28 2.8 . Those lenses are identical to the Mamiya. You just need an adapter and it works out the box. |

Yes, that's had the rim removed, so can be used with a regular adapter.
