I'm looking at a bayonet mount Fuji lens on eBay right now, and I can't tell from the photos what sort of mount it is. It kinda looks like P-K and kinda doesn't.

Click here to see on Ebay

Is this a unique mount for late Fuji cameras?

Yes, its a unique mount.

Shorter back focus than PK

X-Fujinon lenses are for the later Fujica SLRs, which have a proprietary bayonet. If you desperately want that lens, best option would be to pick up a cheap AZ-1 or AX-1 body. Or convert it to M42 as register distances should be the same.

Well, fuji az1 takes M42 fujinons if I recall correctly.

I use my x-fujinons on stx1 ou stx2 bodies, great performers.

Right, I should not post after a busy day before thinking things through. I even had an AZ-1, and it definitely is an M42 camera. Smile

And I was also wrong on the X mount register distance: it's 43.5mm vs M42's 45.46, so no conversion.

A nice table of X-Fujinon lenses is on Wikipedia.

X-mounts fit on the Fujinon X cameras, such as the AX3-STX! and so on. Completley a differnt mount than the PK. As mentioned the register distance is different.

Thanks for the enlightenment, guys. I was mostly interested in acquiring another lens for my Pentax KX and, with adapter, my EOS DSLR. So I'll keep browsing.
