I'm selling a Canon FD 28mm f/2 lens. It's a great lens in excellent condition, but I don't shoot film with my F-1 enough to justify keeping this lens. The glass in clean with no marks, scratches, or fungus. The focusing is smooth, and the aperture is snappy and free from oil. This lens has had very little use. If I'm reading the date code correctly the lens was made in July 1980. If you look at the photo of the front of the lens you can see a ring of spots or bubbles behind one of the elements. I did a Google search on this and found that most New FD 28mm f/2 lenses have this, so whatever it is it passed Canon's quality control. No one is sure what it is, but it doesn't affect the image quality. I suspect it's some spots or bubbles on a casting that is magnified by the lens elements. I'm asking $175/obo. Buyer pays shipping, and I'll cover the Paypal fees.
