Flash for Sony A7

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a budget flash for my A7.
I was interested in the Yongnuo YN560III , but it's written that it's for Canon and Nikon.
I asked the seller if it was compatible with Sony A7. He told me that he checked on internet, and it appears to be compatible.

I never really trust to seller, so I wanted to have advices from A7 users here.

Will this flash be compatible? Totaly, or partialy? What will work, and what won't work on the A7?

I'm totaly newbie in flash things...

Also, do you know other variant of budget flash for Sony A7? (not more than 80 euros)

I'm using the Yongnuo 560YNII on A7 - works flawless, except that 1/250s shutter sync speed isn't working correctly (but 1/160s is okay).

I also have the original Sony HVL20M (120€) which I'm using more often, as it's more compact and automatic and the guide number of 20 is more than strong enough to use it indoors, even for bouncing. You can't use it unleashed though.

I have it too and use it remotly with a reciever/ transmitter (cheap ebay style) and a diffuser + foot with A7R. Wink
