This is the lens (on my FTb QL):

And this shot was taken by holding the lens to the EOS 350D:

Here is a crop:

And the original crop (in real size) you can find here.

For some "real" testshots I will have to reactivate my FTb QL. Wink

Hallo Carsten!

Where did the lens come from?

What´s to say about the quality level?

regards Peter

Well, judging on this experimental shot, I think it is not too bad, much better than I expected. But can't really tell. I have to shoot a roll first.
This lens can only be adapted to the EOS system with an adapter that has a lens inside. So I will not use digitally, but rather as a pretty fast wide angle for my Canon FTb QL. I shoot with this cam so rarely that I did not want to spend much money on a wide angle lens.

I've found this lens on *bay. It was very cheap, a couple of Euros.

Congrats, Carsten! In the close-up, is that Nikon pre-AI rabbit ears?

Yep. That's the fabulous pre-AI Nikkor-O 2.0/35 I have bought from Orio last year - a fantastic lens!
