One of the rarest FSU camera and surely rarest with this lens. Probably made in occupied Germany, case is Leica case printed with Zorki label. This camera with this lens is uncatalogued, case is evidence lens wasn't replaced , camera was born with this lens.

Camera is not mine friend of mine property after test she will going to sale I can't afford it.

Very nice indeed.

Lens is very interesting, looks like they took the optical block from a wartime Jena Sonnar for Contax and put it in a postwar Leica barrel. Very nicely done though. The little ears on the aperture ring and the alloy construction are both clear signs it's a wartime Jena lens, it would have have a 29 or 30 serial originally, before the ZK ring was substituted. If you unscrew the optical block, the number stamped into the metal at the back will identify it for sure.

great condition for its age.

Ah don't think it's occupied Germany though. FED-Zorki and FED KMZ were made in Kraznagorsk, they're recognisable by no thread on the shutter button - with Industar 22 lens as OE. IMO, the lens was added. Without provenance no-one could say whether the lens was produced at the same time as the camera or as original equipment. Surely checking serial nos. would at least give a year?

Cool

Case tell made for lens , typical Fed Zorki case more slim, due collapsible lens.
Camera is made in Germany probably just a legend only, what is not legend and visible lens parts optical block for sure Jena Sonnar.
