Hi all,
I have just bought a 24mm 2.8 to use through adapter on my 5d2 and e-pl2;
I have used many other fd lenses before with my adapters but this 24mm doesn't want to open or close the diaphragm.
If I move the rear lever diaphragm moves, but when I mount it on the camera it doesn't want to and stays wide open.
Any help?
maybe my adapters fit an older kind of fd lens? (This 24mm seems a bit younger then my 50mm and 100mm).

There is a small pin inside the micro 4/3 adapter which pulls the fd lens rear lever back when the lock-unlock ring is maneuvered.
Well, this pin seems to bee too short to keep the lever back; that's why the diaphragm doesn't respond properly.
The other fd lenses work perfectly with this adapter though.

Is your "problem" lens the sort with the chrome breech-locking ring? If so, it's easy to disable the auto iris mechnism by pushing one of the levers to one side. If not, then try http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0JczOo9OHg
