this picture tells a long story
the house with secured windows, the poor man, selling flowers, he found in the nature nearby and the ignarant, healty people passing him
it is a very good picture, you "read" much longer as normal only the maning of your title i do not get

Fata morgana is a form of mirage. The term is Italian but it's used in Poland and, perhaps, in other countries of this region to mean a mirage. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fata_Morgana_%28mirage%29

Maybe it's related to what I find to be the most interesting aspect of this image: How the sharp contrast between the hair and the face of the old man seems taken straight from a negative. The lighting on this photo is mesmerizing. O course, it's an illusion, hence, perhaps, the title. But who am I to say...
