One day I noticed an old carousel slide projector at work. I took the lens, a Schneider-Kreuznach Carousel Procolar 85 mm, home to experiment with.
Aperture is not mentioned, but it is about f/3,5.
The lens barrel was so thick, that I couldn´t mate it to an extension ring, so I took the shots just holding the lens against the mount.
A fast and inexpensive macro. A smaller aperture could be made by making round plates with holes to put inside the lens barrel.
I think the results are good enough to experiment some more. Besides, it´s fun. _________________ Markku
