You know my opinion Attila about that. It will be quite annoiying to read through posts, when 90% is just footer and hardly any content - and that ALL THE TIME FOR EACH MEMBER.

But I understand your goal also....

Currently you have already three lines with your links, I asked for 3-4 lines with equipments... I think this is same thing ... almost every body has 3-4 lines in signature even if no any gears there. With a bit care small size fonts for example there is space for all purposes. Everybody can advertise their own sites and help to make this forum more popular.

I kinda understand the both positions of yours, but I have more than
30 kinds of camera with different mounts and more than enough lenses.
It becomes a labourious typing process, otherwise I have to trim to
essentials which makes me weep for non listed items. Very Happy

Okay, okay, I will try. Probably no camera listing for me, cameras
are to use only the lenses I own. Luckily I have far fewer lenses
than Klaus does. Laughing

I fully agree koji, but also understand Attila's wish, so I have decided to just plug in the lenses I use most currently - which might (will) change over time.

Klaus did perfect job, many thanks!

Laughing

Attila, I understand why you are asking this, but I have to say it makes searching from google very hard, as results are polluted by the lenses listed in signatures, which 99% of the times have no relation to the actual content one is looking for.

I have good reason why I did ask, Google pickit up right posts, built-in search has more trouble with this. Built-in searc has a "title only' option that is makes founds to accurate.

Sorry if this is not the right place to ask this question.

I would like to use a smaller for the signature, but I have no clue how to change it in my profile. Should I disable html?

Ok.. looks like someone has buggered up an Admin setting somewhere. The in-built editor is trying to set the text size using a text-based value (small, x-small, etc.) and is generally not working as it should (it's not inserting the code anyway), and the forum software is looking for a numeric value.

The code at the bottom of this post is working, it should work in your signature. I don't define myself by my gear bag, so I'm not overly fussed whether it works or not Wink

Using 10 is a bit smaller than normal post text, using 8 seems to be too small.
