Nice. I still regret having sold my RD-1 and all the lenses I had for it.

Wardour Street,London West End. The shopkeeper and the customer make interesting close ups, I didn't notice their expressions at the time. Nokton 50mm 1.5 @ whatever. OOC Jpeg, no fiddling.

The only punk in Golders Green, I've looked when I've been in the area but I never saw John again, wish I could, he's a real character.
My first outing with the RD-1s and my new Nokton 35mm 1.2. Focus was a bit off so I tried some PP sharpening. OOC Jpeg

that potrait is stunning. personally, though i have always been a jpeg shooter, i found the raw files much better, though your jpegs are very nice.

Zeiss 18mm @ F4, neigh problem with the meter on this camera, it seems to cope ok most times.

PostPosted: Tue May 06, 2014 5:56 pm    Post subject: Reply with quote

the meter is ive read intentionally off center--to lower left. mine is routinely off by a full stop.

nice colors, specially like those on the roses,
all the faces on the 'sunrise' are funny, specially the '5 winners' Wink
and the portrait is great, shows the unique personality,

thank's for sharing, andreas

Thanks for the comments gents, I feel that when you hit the right spot the colours this old sensor puts out are terrific, you just got to hit the right spot in the first place.
I love Fujis rendering but the Epsom just has an almost indefinable quality, it won't be there every time but sometimes it just pulls you in.

Love the portrait! BTW, I much prefer the fish to flowers Wink
