Yesterday I got an "Engel-Feitknecht & Cie" catalogie from around 1900.
The company was founded by Alfred Engel-Feitknecht in 1878. First producing in Twann (Switzerland), he opened a branch in Geneva (1888). After his death (1899) his successors moved the company to Biel/Bienne (Switzerland).

To give you an idea about the prices:

Average hourly wage for a male Swiss factory worker around 1900 was about CHF 0.42; average wage for a female was CHF 0.24.

Really to say, I don’t suppose that all that staff had been assigned for the average factory worker.
