If you're looking for value, personally, I'd keep an eye out for a horrible looking lens with good optics. |

It seems to be good as a tool. The pics taken with it never will reveal the fungus problem at all.
But if you play (like almost all of us) with lenses remind that the resale value will be low. And we don't know how much.

I use a drop or two of household mould and mildew cleaner in a little meths. Something with detergent properties IME works better than just a solvent.
