Very nice images. The lens has a plasticity that you highlighted very nice. No 7,8,9 and 10 are painting-like.
Never heard of this lens. How old is it?

I was more than surprised myself, Dan! I guess it is a Petzval design, from the lens reflection pattern,
but I have never heard or read about that lens before. Did not even know they made projection lenses.
It has a relatively modern coating, so I guess 50ies - 60ies it was made.

I was quite surprised, I had not expected such from that lens...admittedly very tricky to focus.

Nice soft and glowing flower shots.
The 11th flower down is very unusual with it's polka-dots!

I'm really enchanted by the character of this lens and by the photos presented here, Klaus!
As far as I could find out it has a 62,5 mm. diameter, isn't it?
One more question : how have you managed to mount it and what is the register distance of this lens?

Yes, it is that russian standard 62.5mm. A buddy of mine now makes adapters, based on my advice, fitting M65 helicoid sold from China and sells them on ebay, saves a lot of work and time: Click here to see on Ebay

Don't know the back focus exactly, but has plenty of room.
