Hi,

today I got my Sigmacumlaude replacement kit for C/Y > Sigma. I needed with my two left hands for the modification around 10 minutes without any problems. I will write later on a very short review about this solution.

Below a first sample to test focusing etc. with SIGMA SD15 and CZ Planar 1.4/85mm at around f/4

Congrats Rolf and nice to know I'm not the only one with two left hands Very Happy ...
Your first samples with this combo Sigma/Contax seems to be promising ...

Very nice IQ with the CZ lenses on the Foveon sensor!

+1
but I think in order to really judge the quality of the foveon sensor, it will be a good idea to see samples straight from the cam, we all know that Rolf is quite good with PP Very Happy

Excellent Rolf

@pascal, the thing about PP is that it cannot add what is not in the raw file. Colour, detail, tone must all be there. Rolf's skill can actually help us see what is really being caught by the sensor. Smile

Many thanks for your comments.

While developing at analog times the photographers tried out many tricks to improve the IQ or change the images. Today it is much easier with computerbased PP. But that's indeed a "problem" because you can easily change the characteristcs of lenses. Or see for example my thread about DXO filmpack where you can change your image to different analog film versions.

All is possible and I believe all is allowed.
