It looks good if what you are trying to achieve is the look of an old sepia postcard, and there's nothing wrong with that. I have to say I like the image immensely.

However you can go a great deal further if you wish it.

Old postcards and old victorian prints have a timeless look and feel. If you want to replicate this there are several elements that need to be addressed.

First of all the image needs to suspend disbelief.

The way we can do this is to replicate the process of victorian image making.

The equipment and the medium used had limitations that created their own look and feel.

1 The subject contained nothing of modern life, like modern cars aeroplanes electric cables modern cityscapes.

2 The medium of film was not panchromatic it was orthochromatic and not sensitive to red light

3 The lenses were triplet lenses with poor resolution at the edges of the frame and typically vignetting at the corners

If you can meet these challenges and create the appearance of these defects in your images then you can produce very appealing images.
