I've uploaded an initial Cooke Aviar page at http://galactinus.net/vilva/retro/eos350d_aviar_f8.html, all photos at f/8, contrast adjusted. Of course, the micro contrast of this uncoated lens isn't up to Leica-R level, but otherwise I have precious little to complain about -- well, it's a pain to leave out photos...

I just wonder what a later, coated Aviar would be like compared to this 70 years old specimen.
