Leica Apo-Summicron-M 1:2/75 mm ASPH on Sony NEX-7

This lens with a Hawk's Factory helicoid adapter has a minimum focusing distance of 53 cm from the sensor to the point of focus. This would mean a 0.21x magnification or 1:5 I used a measure tape and at mfd the smallest object to fill the frame is 11 cm wide.

This lens with a normal adapter has a minimum focusing distance of 71 cm from the sensor to the point of focus. This would mean a 0.14x magnification or 1:7 I used a measure tape and at mfd the smallest object to fill the frame is 17 cm wide.

I didn't use much time on the measurements and I wasn't too careful but the results should be pretty close to reality. The focusing helicoid is a very useful feature!
