Like the subject says. I have been searching but can't find a lot of information about this lens. I was able to pick one up at a reasonable cost recently because I agreed to take a massive lens cap off the seller's hands. (It was listed as a 'for parts' Minolta 35 camera with the lens-prices for the lens alone are significantly higher)
I like to learn a bit about the lenses I buy but this one has me stymied. _________________ Steve

Thank you for an excellent suggestion. I learned more about the lens from the Wikipedia article on the camera than from all my searches on the lens, and there were other articles online that expanded on that. _________________ Steve

Seems to be a well regarded lens, I've been wanting one to go with my 50/2, 50/1.8, & 85/2.8 Rokkor's.

Well, my samples are with PP. It is an interesting looking lens, but my lens has some blooming/ glowing. My copy is one of the oldest.
It is a heavy brass made lens with Elmar formula (5/3).
