It is the Sigma-made DCS Pro SLR/c.
Image quality is fantastic when there is light available.
When not, there is a huge noise problem.
ISO 160 is good and 320 still acceptable but beyond that .. _________________ MF: Kodak DCS SLR/c; Samsung NX10; OM-10; Canon T50

I guess it depends on results as 2x can be the weak link. For twice the price you could get a J9 or a lucky bid on a Tamron 90.
How is the Kodak to use in daily use? I imagine, slow. _________________ Casual attendance these days |

So it would be a great performer with classic lenses . I searched around for a while for one on ebay and other sources, but i can only find the Nikon-mounted DCS14n. This one must be very popular amongst its users as there are as much as none for sale. _________________

Would be nice, but it isn't.
Lens 50mm/1.7 with 2x TC delivers 100mm/3.4!
With 1.4x TC you get 70mm/2.4, may be nice for a crop APS-C cropcamera. |

Really? So it multiplies the number.
I thought that it just adds 1 stop, like 2->2.8.
Or was it 2 stops? 2->4, 2.8->5.6 .. etc
but anyways, it is kind of funny lens

For 2x TC you have to multiply the aperture value with 2 (=2 stops).
Lensopening is a matter of surface, square function, focus length is lineair. |
