Damn, the shipping fee kills this deal(at least for US), how could this be? $90, how could that be?

Attila,
Thanks for the explanation. 2.5Kg..... At least I will be scared off this deal by the shipping fee.
Very Happy

Are you kidding me? Less than $200 shipped to the US is worth it just for the Flek! I totatlly would've snatched this one were I not taking a nap Laughing

Just newbie question, are these the same lens?

and with so few information and only one picture from the seller, how to judge if that is really a good deal?
Thanks,
Wei

The top one is the same lens (MC version). The bottom one is the older, non-MC version. More flare (which can get annoying at this wide angle). Going prices for that one is about half the MC version. Of course the second one looks all beat up, dents everywhere, so I wouldn't buy that one for $50US Smile

In terms of quality, well, you just have to take your chances. You always do with Ebay. Read the description closely, ask the seller questions (with a hot "Buy it Now" item, you might have to ask the questions after purchasing), and if what you get is severely different from what you should've got, you negotiate with the seller. I never suck it up; I always neg with the seller when I get a bad item, which is maybe 5-10% of the time (since I only go for the really good deals--- you can play it safe and only buy from reputable sellers, like Stil22, to have a near 100% satisfactory item, for a slight premium).

However, with a post-purchase negotiation, I would say that my final rate of satisfaction is close to 100%, meaning, I haven't had to give back a neutral or negative feedback to a seller in a loooong while.

Thanks, lesson learned Smile
