Thanks Attila! Rolf, it's a cracker eh?! Have you done any macro with it yet?

wow! congrats! the fiancee portrait is superb
my complaint with the 100:2.8 is the long focusing mechanism, great for macro but difficult to use on moving subjects for general shooting

poilu I hadn't noticed that in use, but I guess that makes sense for a lens of this type. I just love the IQ produced though, even wide open.

Rolf, one day...it's worth it! Laughing

Nice colors- I like the "fiancee" image best, nice and crisp colors plus -somehow almost feels like a Sony 100 AF f2.8(macro).

I sold it to ManualFocus-G for ...

do you remember, Graham? Smile

I am so glad that the lens is in your hands ...

It seems that the missing coating on the front glass has NO affect on image quality whatsoever.

This lens never lets you down..
