I just got a mirrorless camera (Canon R8 ) and so far I'm liking this 35mm prime:
I still have to try mf lenses on it

By the way, the photo upload is hit or miss... it won't let you upload some photos, while others work consistently (and it's not the size)

Yes. The upload function may not work for certain images, upload fails randomly.
